| Second place at Les Voiles de St. Tropez for the great Sly 42 |

First day of competition at Les Voiles de St. Tropez and first place overall for Cachou, a standard Sly 42 which immediately surprised with a great success, defended and maintained till the last day with a second place in the IRC B classification.
As the organizers said, this edition was very particular for the weather conditions. During the regattas the competitors found different conditions like light winds or 22 knots gusts, which requested big concentration for the crews and boats able to maintain constant performances.
It was a great satisfaction for the Cachou team, since the boat is equipped with all the comfort of a cruising boat (jib furler, teak deck, foldaway table in the cockpit, desalinator). This is an extraordinary fact if we think that she was only second after a regatta prototype like Ngoni.
During the four days of racing Sly 42 fought against 42 boats and leaved excellent competitors like Wally e Swan behind. According to the team’s declarations, Cachou showed a superb behaviour and brilliant performances, which let her exceed through all the weather conditions.
